Default Need a bucket

Well, I need to buy a second car just to get from point A to B. Anyone have any recommendations?? I'm thinkin Civic or something, but I also want to spend as little as possible. Maybe like $2000 or so. I've heard of a lot of guys putting cars together by buying the body and engine separately. It just kills me to put 100+ miles on my S each day as a daily driver.

My best friend, who drives a '00 ITR, recently bought a CRX Si for the same reason. He paid about $2000 for it, with 160,000mi on the odometer. It runs great, and is actually fun to drive. I would recommend one for a daily driver - they're cheap, reliable, and you don't have to worry about them. Good luck

I did a search on Auto Trader, using the zip code 90045 and price range between $1000 and $3000. Click this link for the results, there's a couple of nice ones. Here

If you can't find a decent CRX, I'd recommend an older Civic or Corolla. Boring but extremely reliable, and due to the insane number produced it should be easy to find one.

Hey man. Thanks. I'll check it out. Is that your area code??
No prob. 90045 is not my home zip code, it's my zip code at school here in L.A.
