So the story is I am buying a New Formula Red S from my cousin. Its been in the family since they first came out in 2000. He introduced me to high performance cars with it. I can still remember my first ride in it when I was 14 and what redline sounds like in each gear going sideways. I am 21 now,he still has it and I WANT it.

The thing is there is some front end damage and would like to find a complete front clip to replace some components. Besides some front end damage, the car is in pristine condition. It has only 30,000 miles on it. He is an ASE certified mechanic and will do the labor for no charge, I just have to pay for parts. Does anyone know where I would be able to pick a complete front clip? Hopefully, everything goes as planned and I can join this family.

 

why not buy a car that is intact? less hassle in my opinion.

 

For what I am paying for it, it's really not a hassle. I have seen cars with more mileage that cost a lot more. I am no hurry to get the car as I have 2 already and the S2K will replace my current DD. As many as there may be out there, this one was the reason I started modding cars and road racing.
