Need a good dealer in Texas
About 6 months ago I was going to pick up my new s2k (my company's stock has been significantly revalued since then) but now I'm ready to go and have the bosses' permission.
At that time the various dealers in DFW area were charging a ridiculous surcharges, 4K, and I received some good recommendations from this forum.
I'm willing to travel, just want to buy from a fair dealer. I'd rather not have one then buy from Lute Riley though.
Thanks for any help, buying within 2 weeks (maybe lease), silver/red.

I have no personal experience with this dealer, but I seem to remember other board members mentioning that Frank Kent in Fort Worth was selling at or near MSRP. I don't know if this is the case now, however. Good luck.

I think CDELENA and some other Dallas-ites have been using Rute Riley on N. Central. They have "trained" the service group to understand our car.
I bought from David McDavid in Irving. Good price and no problems. However, I haven't trusted them enough to let them do any of the recall maintenance (they gut your car for the seat belt recall).

i got my silver/red for MSRP from Jack O' Diamonds Honda in Tyler, TX...
i hunted for 2months and couldn't find anything cheaper then 35k in the dfw area..

Do NOT use Jack O'Diamonds! They have a terrible reputation here in Tyler. I travelled to Lafayette, LA to buy my S2000, and went to Dallas to buy my wife's Accord. I wouldn't let them touch a 10 year old Civic, let alone my S2000. They have only sold 4 S2000's, one of which went to a co-worker. They have little experience with our car.

What dealer have you been dealing with for repairs? I thought I overheard you saying that you were requesting a specific technician at a dealership and even schmoozing (giving gifts, etc.) the service dept. to get the right people working on your car.
