Default Need Help!!!

I am very FRUSTRATED!!!!! I got gas today (91 octane) and right as I was pulling
out my S just died!!! This is the second time its happened to me!! what I had to do both
times was go inside and buy STP fuel injector cleaner. And immediately it worked fine.
WHATS GOING ON???? My S is a 2000 and has 27,000 miles on it. I treat it like a
baby so I dont know why it would be acting up?? anybody out there had the same
experiences or now whats going on?

If your injectors were dirty enough to make the car quit, I can't see how injector cleaner would get to the injectors fast enough and clean them out so you could start the car immediately. I cannot offer any explanation as to why your car would do this.
Should there be a next time, try this:
Instead of going in to buy a bottle of injector cleaner, just "pretend" you are going to buy it, put it in, close the gas cap, throw away the bottle, etc. What I'm getting at is: wait about the same amount of time that the car would have sat there before trying to start it. If it starts, it's not your injectors. If it doesn't, you can still go through the same motions and really put in the cleaner.

Are you getting gas from the same station? If so, try changing and see what happens.

Almost sounds like sediment in the tank or perhaps a fuel filter. Seems that it happens after you agitate the sediment by filling up the tank.

I agree with xviper. It seems like it's the time for the sediment to settle, not the injector cleaner.

I'd also follow junehhan's advice and change stations.

this has happened at two completely different gas stations and the first time i waited for
about an hour trying to figure out what was going on and trying to get it started. The
only reason i bought fuel injector cleaner was because thats all they had. I wanted to
get octane booster b/c i thought the gas was watered down or something. The second
time it happened i tryed to get it started for about 5-10 minutes then finally went inside
and bought the same thing. I Have no idea whats going on!!! but it doesnt really matter
now b/c my car just got vandalized about 2 hours ago!!!

I know the s has some issues with the gas cap itself. Check and search some older posts.

I am so sorry to hear about your car getting vandalized. I can't stand scumbags like that and I just wish it was legal to beat the crap out of someone vandalizing your car. If so, I bet vandalism would drop 99% in a week.

I noticed your car has 27k miles on it, have you changed the fuel filter yet? If not, it's way past due since fuel filters should be changed every 20-25k miles.
