Default need help about a ceased car...

i posted this thread about a week ago
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...light=financial

now i need some help...
my car is ceased by the financial company because of some stupid and nasty family financial problem.
and now i think the car's gonna be sold by the finance company through an auction. (which means the car's gone for good- it's not mine anymore.)
i had so much after market parts in that car, which i think are still MINE, and is it possible to get those parts back?
of course, i have the original parts in my hands.

If you still have the car, then just swap the parts. If the car was repossessed, then it will be tough to swap the parts out.

if its repo'ed the only thing you will be able to retrieve from the car would be your personal belongings like CD's, a wallet, a laptop, or anything else you left in the car. I seriously doubt they would let you take a screwdriver/socketwrench/any tool along with you to the impound yard and change out parts. if they did, they would be doing you a favor, and that's not something they'd allow you to do unless bribed under the table.

that's just my take on it though. same thing happened to a friend of mine when his car was repo'ed here in Austin.

Should have done it before they took it away. That said, it probably would not hurt to check with the leasing company. Tell them you have a few thousand dollars of accessories on the car that you bought aftermarket and would like to take them back.
