Need Help from Bodywork Experts!
Is it possible to shave out the CAI hole in the J's S-type front bumper (and have a good result after painting)?
I may install a supercharger, so the CAI hole would be unecessary.
My first instinct is that this will NOT be possible.
I've seen several shaved OEM front bumpers (also FRP?), and the filled holes are ALWAYS visible after the new paint goes on. I had the body shop redo my front bumper 4 times, and the filled holes are still visible with certain lighting.
Does anyone have info or experience with FRP repair, or know of a shop that specializes in this type of work???
