I have a friend who is in Chicago on business and is starting to get bored. he says everywhere he goes the places close at 1:30 which is a shock to the system when you're coming from NYC. Do you guys know of any good bars or clubs that might be open later or are generally a good place to hang out with live music etc etc.

I'm an old fart for being 35...if I'm awake at 1:30, which is likely, I'm home or in a bar with friends hanging. Nothing too exciting!

But maybe he should try Drink, or Dennis Rodman's place which I can't remember the name of right now. Tell him to pick up a Reader and check Section 3. That will guide him to all the hotspots he can possibly imagine...
