I am trying to swap bumpers. From 02 front bumper to 04.
Then put OEM front lip cover on top of it.
Personally 04 OEM front lip looks whole lot better then a 02 front lip.
But I like to know how well 04 f. bumper fits on a 02 model?
Another thing is that my paint is spa yellow pearl and I believe there is
some changes on a 04 model paint. If it is do you guys know how much of change
there is? Is it very noticable? Need help guys.

well the front bumper itself comes unpainted...as for the lip you will probably have to have it repainted

 

what about the fitment?

 

You will also need to trim the styrofoam piece. Ask Defender - he has made this conversion.

 

9KTACH had it done down here in SD. There are some minor fitment issues, but for the most part they are a direct swap. You'll need to play with the spacers and shim some areas to close the gaps around the headlamps.

I agree, the '04 lip is an improvement over previous. PM them if you need more info.

 

What about 04 front lip cover?
I know you can order them already painted.
But how much of difference in colors.
Their name is different and slight difference in colors.
Anyone know anything about that ?
