Default Need help quick! Fan will not go off....

ok, so here's the deal.. I'm in California right now, and I'm trying to go to San Francisco.. Well, I will be taking my dad's 1994 Honda Accord, sicne the S2000 is back in Florida for now..... We have runinto a slight problem: The fan will not shut off when the car is turned off....

Anyone know what it could be, and what a quick fix is??? S.F. is about 2 hours away, so need the car to run good......

Any help will be greatly appreciated.....

Thanks!!

For how long? It is supposed to stay on to cool the car down even while ignition is off, once the car cools off it should stop.

It will not stop... You have to disconnect the battery to get it to stop...

Sounds like the coolant temp sensor is broken. So the car thinks it needs to keep the fan runnings in order to cool the radiator down. So you either have to replace the fan switch or the temp sensor.
