Default Need help : Rim

Ok well i know jack about rims and there off set and what not. I just wanted to know if these rims would fit on the S2k. My07 if that matters at all..

The Volk Ce28n
The Work Emotion Cr Kai
The Wedssport Tc105N
The Wedssport Sa70

I just wanted to know if i wanted to get it in 17" what would be the best offset + Size like 17x5 or 17x9 or w/e

i've also noticed that on some cars the offset is pretty cool. The rims curve in more. what kinda offset would i need and with it being safe/no rubbing and what not

Thanks

David

Oh man...this gonna be hard as far as explaining everything. Best bet is take in info little by little and get a full understanding of it. Then move on to the next info and fully understand that and so forth. TireRack.com has a great read on it if you go on their website or just do a google search. Truthfully, it is really hard to explain because it just doesn't consist of one part but many many different parts.

As far as your question goes, it is too vague as there are still many factors that can go into play. If you have a particular set your looking into, give us the size, offset, etc. and can probably tell you off hand if it will fit or not. There isn't too many offsets when looking at a particular rim really.

Sorry if I wasn't much help, but in some ways, you need to help yourself first to get a better understanding, so then we can help you. Anyone can understand it, you just have to be willing to take the time and effort to really want to learn.

See if anyone has the rims you want on their S and see what if anything they had to do.

I'm not a wheel expert, but here's my comments. I'm sure some more knowledgable people will comment as well.

The Volk Ce28n
Ti Gunmetal 17X7.5 +50 / 17X9 +63 - Yes, that's the "standard" S2K size

The Work Emotion Cr Kai
i dunno this one..couldn't find what the offset..but it will be 17" as well - PM rijowysock if you want Works. He's a vendor here and is great with offsets.

I think you are talking about the "concave" Work Emotions. To get that you need:

Front: 17x7 +47
Rear: 17x9 +44

I don't know what you need in terms of no rubbing, but as I said above contact rijowysock in regards to these.
