Need help! Shock and spring install today!
Ok, this is the deal. My car was involved in an accident a few weeks ago (not my fault thank god), some body and suspension damage. Well I'm going camping in Georgia for the week. While i'll be there my car will be finished and ready for me, I asked my buddy at the shop if he could install my Koni yellows and tein s-tech springs while they were doing the suspension work. A couple of quick questions, do the bump stops need to be cut at all?? Also, will there be any other modifications needed install these? It is a suspension shop thats doing the install, but I don't know if they deal with aftermarket parts... So I wanna let them know of any issues they might run into before they start... Also, once the shocks are installed I can adjust the stiff/softness with out needing to put the car on a jack or remove anything correct? Anything else I might be missing let me know!!!
Thanks in advance!!!

Check out the technical sub-forum under "Under the Hood." There is a link to install instructions for koni's and springs.
I believe the bump stops and washers needed to be drilled out, and while there have been mixed reports, he did not cut down the bump stops.
Personally I would not cut the stops at first. You can go back and cut them if you have to later.
It was also suggested to move the fuel filler neck to get access to the left rear.
You can adjust the damping force by turning a wheel on top of the shock. In the front, it is under the hood, easily accessible. In the rear, you have to remove some interior trim to get at the tops of the shocks.
