Wait a minute? You got the ticket because you had another ticket on your record, even though the other driver was at fault? Sounds like a job for a lawyer, if it makes sense with the fine and all.

Well, as long as there's no points assessed to your license, and no fine, I'd say let it be. Your insurance probably will take a hike no matter what, unless you somehow convince a traffic court judge to throw the ticket out, AND the other guy's InsCo pays up without a big fight. I wouldn't hold my breath for that.
Unless there are points assesed, the $450 would be better spent making your car like all smiley in front (the Mugen bumper looks like your car is doing this

This one has too big of a mouth for my tastes and the sides are a bit drastic. Also, I'm not sure of what this kit is made out of. I know that Cwest and Mugen bumper covers are made of high quality, resilient materials.

I was sitting in a right hand corner at an intersection. There was a big pickup truck next to me, which I assumed was going straight.
I am trying to picture this, so help me out here. You were turning right from the right lane. He was going straight or turning right from the left lane. You turned right and drifted into the left lane. He, instead of going straight, turned right and smacked into your front fender.

Sorry about your car. That ticket sounds kind of fushy to me. Doesn't seem right that you got the ticket when he slammed into you. Didn't he turn out of the left lane??? Isn't that illegal???
