Need OEM soft top
$1750 for a maybe correct but second tier vinyl fabric top vs a $900 Robbins Haartz Stayfast Cloth convertible top? Installation is the same price and correct installation is vital. Honda didn't make any convertible roofs.
LHT claims they can get "OEM" tops too.
Yeah, I have the Robbins cloth, not vinyl roof.

the robbins cloth is so much sexier than oem vinyl. i've done several vinyl and one cloth and if i have to do another it will be cloth.
whatever you go with i highly recommend buying a whole roll of honda EPT sealer.

After replacing my original OEM top with a Robbins cloth one, I'll NEVER go back....It's been on the car for about 3 years now, still looks awesome....
My wonder is if all of the insistence by some people for an OEM top is from LHT always saying no aftermarket tops fit properly and they "won't install anything but OEM". Kinda funny considering they used to make fun of the OEM/ACT clutch setup and always pushed the Clutchmasters clutches, and yet when a customer had them install an OEM/ACT they supplied, they praised it and started offering it....

Thanks guys.
The reason I am even thinking about this is because 1) I was listening to LHT videos re OEM tops, and 2) because my top is 20 years old, (in good shape now, but the day will almost certainly come when I need a new top), and 3) I started to worry about supply of OEM tops.
Based on what you guys are saying, I am no longer worried about supply, and I am no longer persuaded oem is the way to go anyway.
I am just going to wait until my top bites the dust and deal with it then.
Thanks.
Just out of curiosity - what is the approximate "all in" cost of a Robbins top installed by a pro?

For a installation example contact @2poor2mod for his fee to install your Robbins cloth roof. Highly professional and highly recommended. He did a 4-car group install for us up in DC 4 years ago for $500/car. (He came down from New Jersey and does (or did) group installs all over this area.) Happy to pay it. Current Robbin roof runs $900 (was $700 4 years ago). I'd guess-budget $1500 for the complete job. Cloth roof still looks stunning after 4 years. So much nicer than the OEM roof. I keep thinking it's new...
