Default Need Opinion...

Well I picked up the Cwest CF fenders and want to get some opinions on what I should do. Here is what I was thinking...

Leave the CF fenders unpainted
Paint my Mugen SS front flat black to match.
(Then my whole front would match)

OR

Paint them Spa Yellow to match the rest of the car.
(This is what I am thinking)

Please let me know what you guys would do/suggest.

Thanks..

I say go with flat black on the MugenSS. However, extend the flat black either on the roof and hood, or somehow down the sides of your car to incorporate the black and yellow theme together a bit better.

I myself have been considering getting my car repainted....not flat black, but something clsoe to it. I've looked into a low gloss satin black.

Just keep in mind for the type of answers you're going to get....remember opinions are like assh0les...btw, I have the biggest one.

i say get the C-West doors and rear fenders to match j/k
both ways sound good...i would wanna keep the fenders unpainted, thats 1 of the reasons you bought em. i just think if you paint the Mugen bumper flat black, it won't flow with the rest of the car....you're car will be 1/2 and 1/2. ask someone to do a photshop for you. easiest and prob best is to paint em...just my opinion

I'd say paint them yellow, but leave some aspect of them unpainted so that the CF shows through. Maybe its the dip where the hood meets the fender? Maybe its a sorta "racing stripe" where the emblem and side markers go. I dunno.

in all honesty i would paint them spa and leave a small cf pin stripe. the cf pinstripe would flow with the cf hood.

IMHO -

I think you should paint the fenders to match the rest of your car with the exception of two diagonal 4" stripes running from the top of your fenders to the hood (so that the the most forward part of the stripes - the expose CF - would be near the hood) Kind of tlike the red stipes found on the '95 Corvette Gran Sport. The exposed CF stripes will show that the panels are CF and it gives you a race prepped look. Just my .02

Get them clear painted. I did this to match my CF hood and Craft Square mirrors to the blue on the car because the carbon on blue was to much of a contrast:

I have more if you need them. Closeups of the hood that is.
