I live in Southern New Jersey and the mornings here have been below freezing when I have to go to work, 6AM. My garage isn't heated but the car starts first time, everytime. I let the car warm up a little before I drive if it is cold out. I use Mobil 1 10w-30, this may have something to do with your problem. Too thick an oil may hinder the cold morning start up. Not sure though.

First thing I'd look at is battery. Second would be fuel pressure. If the fuel pressure bleeds down then they're hard to start first thing on the morning.

Fuel pressure leaks down from leaky injectors, leaky tank check valve or leaky fuel pressure regulator.

Do this, turn on the key, wait 2 seconds, turn it off, then turn it on again and try to crank. If that makes it fire right up. It normally means your fuel pressure is bleeding off during the night.

If it cranks slow in the cold mornings, you need a battery.

I just got my battery replaced about 4 months ago, recently about the last month or so....since it has been getting cold, my car takes a little longer to start too. However, I park outside. It has been about 55-60 degrees out you guys think it is normal?

frankcandy610, what oil are you using now? A 0-30 would flow better cold than 10w30. The question is, is it cranking slow and then starting or cranking normal and taking awhile to start.

^That's the question that needs to be answered. Mine cranks slower when it's cold because the battery is cold. It fires right up after a few revolutions, but it does crank slower.
