Default Need price Help!!!

Hi

I need some serious help.

I just looked at an 2000 S2000 GP White with Red Interior. The car has 8000 Miles on it . The guy wants $26 000 us for the car is this a rip?

The car is in amazing shape..... Like new. I am still shaking from the test drive..... sooooooo nice. Sooooo much fun

Is 26000 too much?

Thanks for your help

I'm new around here, but I can tell you one of our local dealers has a brand spankin' new 2003 yellow one for $28,995. So I would think the one you're looking at is pretty pricey. But like I said I'm new around here and don't know a lot of S2k stuff yet.

my non-expert opinion says that he's at least 2K to $3K out of range (asking $26.0) for a pristine low mileage '00. btw- they're mostly ALL low-mileage so it isn't really a huge bump for the price. this car is out-of-warranty and may or may not have had some of the tsb's done on it. does he have the full service history? is this a private party sale or a dealer?

what's more important to you... price or getting the "right" car? (this is not a knock or a dig, just curious if you want white, or is condition/price are the determining factors)

good hunting.

I guess calif. prices was higher when he brought it.
I would ask him to take off another 1k and it's a deal.
32k-(2k per yr)=26k-1k for mileage probably

People (including myself) have been getting new S2000's for invoice or slightly more. Personally, I'd much rather pay $30k for a new '03 than $26k for a mint condition '00. That's four years difference and you would get a warranty with a new car. You would also know exactly where it had been. He'd have to be in the very low $20k's for me to even consider it to be worthwhile.
