Default Need some advice on a ticket

I know this topic or senario is redundant, but I would appreciate any help or advice from the wise people that have been in my situation. I was on my lunch break today and was on the road leading to my house wich is non-populated, but anyway When I turned down it I smacked down the gas and zoomed down the road. When I pulled into my drive way heres come a cop right in behind me I know what I had done he wrote me a ticket for 83 in a 35 damn big ticket.

What can I do?
I know to get a lawyer. Is there anything he can even do with this?

All the help I would greatly appreciate.

Get a lawyer asap. You should consider yourself lucky that he didn't haul you to jail.

Get a Valentine 1 for future times when you want to test the S.

Good luck.

i don't think you can just pay it since the ticket is from he's residing county/state.

the best bet is to look for a good lawer.

i would go to the local forum where you are from and ask for good lawer information.

Did you ask to see the radar? Sounds like a double pointer so, you gotta hope for some technicality...

In some states, like Virginia, "just paying it" is not an option because such speeds are considered reckless and require you to appear in court.

But I definitely dont agree with "suck it up and pay for it". About 75% of drivers speed, and probably about 90% of drivers on this website speed, but only those who get caught have to pay higher insurance rates for the next 5-7 years. Get a lawyer, and pray.

Talk to some friends, get a recommendation from them for a lawyer and let him handle this. I've had friends get out of MUCH worse with only a couple points on their lisence or even just a fine. Lawyers can work magic.
