Default Need some advise

I picked up my 02 Silver/Red three weeks ago. Would like to add a CAI and strut brace. Is there any consensus on the preferred products out there to go with?

The STB (shock tower bar) isn't going to do anything alone. I'd recommend an X-Brace and an STB if you plan on bracing up the car. As for which one - Spoon makes nice X-Braces for the dollars (under 200) and the digrappa brace is nice, but over 2x's the price for the same functionality. As for which STB to go with... MG Racing has a Carbon Fiber coming out and an Aluminum, RM Racing has one, Comptech has a very nice one (the only one that works with their Supercharger).

As for CAI's - there's AEM, Injen, Comptech, and the Roar. Injen is supposed to have a better dyno chart (slightly) than the AEM, but they are built pretty much the same. Comptech's dyno - when we're able to find out the chart on the Comptech, I'm sure it will be posted. As for the Comptech CAI, they will be in stock next week - so you can PM/email me if you'd like one.

Problem with the STB and CAI though - clearance. Currently most STB's will need spacers/washers to lift it above the CAI pipe. Comptech's works well.

Soon, in the new frequently asked questions section of the site - we'll have all of these items listed, with pictures and things you should know about them. Also, some installation procedures as well.

Hope this helps!
