I've got the KG-MM DR21 race springs. I was unhappy with the front ride height (a little too high), so I got the Dremel out and chopped the bottom-most coil out of the front springs.
I know that people say not to do this, but all I can say is:
1. I have not been able to bottom out the car
2. Ride is exactly the same as before I modded the front spring
3. I'm very happy with the performance AND the look. It looks much more equally balanced now.
I think that the reason the ride is unchanged is that the coil I cut off is at the bottom of the spring, inside the 'tightly coiled' part. This does not affect day to day driving, and on the track, I'll have to let you know. I did the same to the rear springs on my old CRX race car and it still drove very well.no noticable difference.
I'll be posting pics of my S2000 late tomorrow afternoon (05/25) in the Photo Gallery.
