I need ONE person (3rd party) who is willing to test out our new front lower chassis bar (commonly known as the X brace) and report back to our community. Finished product will be ready this Friday. cdelena, yu888, tfota, prolene, jsaini? You will get to keep this bar for free. This bar features thicker chromoly steel tubing and larger sized supporting gussets. I know that I can put it on and say "oh! it's wonderful!" but I would like 3rd party, unbiased opinion on this.
It's actually done, but my shop wouldn't let me snap some pictures today because they insist that powdercoating must be done for the best looks (perfectionist I'm working with). When the bar comes back on Friday I'll post the pictures.
Pricing was posted a while ago. (why don't you try the search function? )
Any volunteers?

Schatten raised a very good point: It would be better if you or someone close by you has the Spoon x brace so you could do a comparison? Anyone?
Thanks Schatten!!!

Hi Mingster
I already have the spoon lower front x brace, and would be willing to compare your effort to spoons and to driving without any x brace. I'm local. Let me know.

Rich,
Still need a mule. . . I got Greg, Jason, Meat, and others in the area to test against.
I remember offering my testing services at an earlier junction. . . . Just remember with what you get with Luder Crash Test Dummy Inc. You get quality, thorough testing. As well as a detailed report that would be cross-charted with any competition.
If you need references, blood test, urine test, resume just give me a call. You got the number.

ok, Here's my plug!
A good friend of mine has an almost identical '01 S2000 to mine - same color and VIN's within a couple of hundred. He currently has the Spoon X-brace. We are both experienced at the limit drivers with a few years of track experience each who do the local cloverleaf ramps about as fast as the car can go (in 1st gear just in case mr donuts is watching). We are set up to do a two driver back to back tests in alternating cars/drivers. We also have lots of potholed and bumpy roads (after all, this is New England) to test on.
A couple of up front questions:
1) what is the weight of the unit?
2) is it lower profile than the Spoon unit?
Thanks.
