Feel your pain, get them to fix it - preferably somewhere else!

I had the same problem when I took my s2k in for a paint job after some deep keying. The paint job was sh*t and I had seals torn/broken everywhere. Take it back for sure, most certified shops have a life time warranty on their work. I've taken my s2k back two times already for bad clear coat. They just re-do all over again . My driverside is brighter than the rest of my car, but thats due to new paint, so if you look close anyone can see the different blends, nothing else I can do to make it look like how I bought it straight from the factory(other than a full paint job )

This is real simple. Demand to speak to the manager. Drag him out of his office by his ear, to where your car is. Ask him if he would accept the work. Obnviously he will say no. Ask him if he would give ANY bodyshop a third crack at it. He'll say no, if he's honest. Then ask him where HE is going to send it to be done properly. If it's really that bad, you can claim vandalism and get the police involved. At least it's worth threatening to do it, even if you wouldn't go through with it.

i doubt that, red is harder to paint match but it's relatively simple because it's free of pearl/mica/etc

you need a better shop, not a full repaint(assuming the rest of the car is relatively good condition, not beaten to sh-t)

the thing about paint job is that customer don't think twice about the true cost of it, you don't get the full labor/prep/material/workmanship if you go low. there's sh-t paintjob you can get out the door that cost less than a qt of high end clearcoat i use, it's very extreme so pay what you want to get and pray you get it

there's tons of bad prep/painter/polisher out there, speaking with experience in the business

sorry to hear about this, I can't even begin to fathom how pissed off you are right now. DEFINITELY do something about it though, don't just sit there and take it. Talk to the manager, take pictures, talk to Honda, put the pictures in the paper to "show off" the kind of work they do, etc. I'd do anything and everything imaginable until they got it fixed properly. Good luck, keep us posted.

I seriously wouldn't use any shop without knowing their work or without a recommendation. As you can see "certified" doesn't really mean much.
