The car looks like a wreak. Too much going on with it as mentioned before. You might get it for a great price but I think you'll end up putting a lot of money into it to get it to streetable or the way you'd like it to look. And it certainly won't make for a comfortable daily driver.
I bet you're getting wrapped up in the emotion of owning the car you've always wanted (S2000) and trying to get a steal. I'm the same way. The fact of it is you'll probably get what you pay for. Be patient and wait it out until you find a complete car. You'll be happy you did. Also, winter is around the corner. Prices typically drop a bit in the cold months if you're willing to wait it out.

Thanks prosado.
This thing has been on autotrader.com for over two weeks now. If it was really such a great bargain it would have been swiped up already. Personally, I would walk away quickly and find a nice AP1 with less than 40k miles for about $12-15k. They're all over the place right now.
If that car is going to be mostly street-driven or a DD I would not get it. It looks like a mess and you'll probably get sick of driving that stripped thing all over the place. I say settle for a nice AP1, not a huge difference overall between the AP2.
thanks everyone. I decided not to get it. It was FUN to drive but needs some work. The guy wont budge lower than 13k, but even then, not sure if he would do that cause he wanted 13.5. With 9300 miles for an 05, it checked out good at the dealer.
DO NOT BUY THIS CAR TO SAVE MONEY!
Did ya hear me? This isn't a car that *might* have had a hard life. It's a car that someone has taken out and thrashed. Good luck getting warranty work done when the car has a cage welded in.
This car may have only a few miles, but I'd rather have a car with 70k of normal miles than 100 race miles.
This would be a great 2nd or 3rd car to take out and flog on the track if you've got the wallet to back it up. You apparently do not have said wallet or you wouldn't be asking. Run. Run screaming from this car as fast as you can. It is not and never will be a daily driver.
