Default Negative attention

Seeing the thread below about people's S2000s getting a lot of attention, has anyone got negative attention? Like having your car keyed twice in 4 months of owning it (once at the local library, and once in my own apartment's parking lot). The first guy did the most thorough job with two long scratches on the hood and one long scratch all across the passenger door. The second perp got a nice deep one that exposed the metal just under the antenna.

Anyone else had that kind of 'unwanted' attention or maybe I just pissed someone off and don't know it.

I would get a proximity alarm installed. Then I'd lay in wait for the guy. Alarm goes off, look to see who it is, chase him down while you call the police on the cell phone. If he takes a swing at you, even better.

No, no negative attention here. But im very careful where i park mine. Mine is garaged and i dont take her to the mall or any parking lots etc. Thats what the winter-beater is for.

I always wonder why some people seem to get their car keyed multiple times and some people never get so much as a door ding.

I guess that is part of the price to pay for using it as a daily driver... but I really don't know.

yup.. there are always idiots born every day ? the negative attention is all from ENVY / JEALOUSLY.. I let my vtec and my exhaust drone them out.. and I'm always sure to park right in front or in a high pedestrian traffic area..

I don't get negative attention because people around the area have nicer cars.
