Here are pics of my Neuspeed exhaust. I love the sound and looks. Im sure like most other dual exhaust setups, it adds little or no power.

I just purchased mine used from Shamu. It should arrive today. But the bummer is that i am in Cali right now. So hopefully when i get in the package should be there. I will let you know how it sounds when i get it installed. All the other owners i have talked to says they love the sound. Do a search and you can find some audio and/or video clips.

Thanks

the Neuspeed v.3.0 exhaust (the final version) is one of the best valued exhaust out there. The sound is not too loud, and it offers a strong, deep tone that's very restrained. In VTEC it screams.

and yes, we carry Neuspeed.

I'm a little befuddled by the reasons for changing from stock exhaust. As most tuners know and a previous poster mentioned, a more free-flowing exhaust will not increase horsepower without other mods to the intake and mapping.

Now as for looks, you might want to change the exhaust on a motorcycle, because the whole system is visible, but all you see on an S2K is the tip of the pipe...and that's not a whole lot.

So it comes down to sound. When I'm driving around in an everyday fashion, I want the car to be quiet. When I open it up to impress someone (or myself), I want it to be louder, and the VTEC to some extent takes care of that.

I haven't checked the price of the aftermarket systems, but it comes down to how much do you want to spend to make your car sound louder. For me, it is zero.

The stock exhaust is too quiet throughout the rev range. And if you've ever seen a Neuspeed or any other stainless steel exhaust from the rear, you know it's there due to their reflective qualities. With the stock exhaust, all you see are the tips. Doesn't look bad, but could be better.

All this being said, though, I can understand why some people like yourself prefer the quieter nature of the stock system.

Don't like the single outlets at all.

I don't necessarily prefer the stock exhaust because it is quieter (a little more noise would be just fine), I just am reluctant to pay a hefty sum for an exhaust that does nothing but make it louder. I saw the pics of the stainless from behind, and no doubt one knows it's there, but it's not a major visual difference from the chrome-tipped stock set-up. OK, subtlety is everything!

Gotta agree with you 100% on the single-sided exhaust. This is a step backward from an aesthetic point of view.

Some of the single outlet exhausts give a significant weight savings, too.
