Well, Thursday is D-Day for me Sleepwalker and Kronos!! I'm going in to work numbers with my local dealer on a 04 Silverstone Red/Black. If the deal is good, I may have an 04 in my future as well. I wasn't able to get in on the release of the 00 S, but I have a chance to sort of feel what the 00 owners felt. Heh.

 

I would have loved to see redline go UP like my CBR900, like 10,500, but I'm certain it will be quite the machine. You'll love it!

 

I, too, am in negotiation for an '04 Silverstone/Black. I'm at about $1k over invoice but still hacking. (I'm actually fine with that, just like to see how low they'll go )

Wonder who'll post the first owned '04 pic???

BTW...Rex do you actually have an invoice price on MY04? Or are you working off MY03 numbers?

 

I tell you, it is going to be hard to keep a strong front in there instead of jumping up and down yelling "Gimme Gimme Gimme!" If the numbers don't work out I'm going to be depressed for a long long time. I'm already thinking of what mods I can do! This is NOT a good way to go into negotiations.

They are basing the increase on the MY03', nobody has invoices yet on 04's

 

You are right Derwood...Just spoke with my dealer again. he says that the invoice for the 04 should be the same as 03. At the most he says it could increase by 1%.

 

Cool, I'm almost at the point of ordering and 04 myself........just not sure about color.

I have a Silver Gray/Imola Red M3 coming in Oct, so Silver/Red-Black is out.

Maybe Rio Yellow, I'm just a tad hesitant because Spa yellow is just about perfect. Although I should say Rio does look nice in the brochure photos that were posted.
