Default new 05 vs low mileage 04..whatwould you do?

would you get a new 05, for 29-30k, vs a low mileage 04 for 26-27k....basically a 3 k difference for a getting a new unmolested car ...it break in very important for this car? if it is, then their is always the risk that the previous owner was a bozo and didnt properly breakin thecar..

new,,,,cuz newer year has better resale value and by the time u wanna sell ur S eventually the 05 will have less miles than those used.... so u r lookin more than 3-4k differnces
more likely 7-8k

I would purchase the used one and save the $3,000 for mods.

Given that MY04 and MY05 are identical... I'd wheel and deal a lower price on the MY04 and get that one. Depreciation sucks.

Different? Not really...

3-4k is not something you'll pay out of your pocket now, but if you were to put that amount in mods, it's out of your pocket ..right then. On the same token, $3k could make a jump about $60 in 5 years payment.

Think about it, you've come this close to getting a brand-new S of your own, why chicken out for just $3k away. Get the new one and be happy, "YOU'RE HER FIRST!!!"

No brainer. The 04.

Their the same car and you'll be saving about $6-7k.

It would have to be a difference of 6-7k before I'd take the used one. Otherwise, go for the brand new one. No question.
