New 2004 Updates On S2000
Finally Hondas sporty two-seater gets a fairly major overhaul in 2004 to make it friendlier for everyday driving. A 2.2 Liter four cylinder engine replaces the former 2.0 Liter version. Althought it proces the same 240 hp its torque band is improved so that maxiumum power is achieved at 7700 rpm instead of 8300. Max torque is now 163lb at 6500 RPM instead of 153lb at 7500 RPM. The car gets bigger 17" wheels, revised suspension and gearing, and new front and rear bumpers. The interior also has been freshened with added space!

Dude, you just totally plagarized Motortrend. Nice try, though.
I saw pictures of the 04' S2k in a japanese magazine yesterday in SF... The body work on the front is exactly as people have posted (brochure shot)... the revised headlights look a lot more aggressive (they added a few bulbs inside the housing)... rear is identical to 00-03' except for oval tips and slightly revised lights. Side of the car looks identical. And of course the 17's (rear uses a 245/40/17 on the 04'). The wheels on the car in the magazine were different then the ones in the brochure shot... not sure if they were for japanese market or what.. but they looked like the current M3's wheels... multi straight spokes. No interior shots in that issue, but they did mention a redline of 8500 rpm and the car making max power @ 7700.
I wouldn't say i regret buying my 03' (just 2 weeks ago) but seeing clear shots of the 04' did make me wonder
... those shots must be floating around the internet now... ill post if i find em

If correct, it looks like we'd be in decent company. The Bridgestone site lists the Enzo Ferrari as one car that uses the RE050.
