Default new 2007 s2k Purchase Price?

Alright, first off I live in Salt Lake City, Utah... its October 11 and snow has already fallen twice... The demand for s2ks is pretty low... you never see them, and at the dealership right by my house, they have had the same 3 S2000s sitting on the lot for the past 2+ months... last night I drove by and they are sitting right by the street marked "SALE! $29,788" ...I know that that isn't the best price, but obviously they are desperate if they are starting negotiations at that spot...

Anyways... before bringing in the trade-in, what kind of deal do you think that I should aim for? ya'll think its possible that I get them down to $29,000 out the door? (taxes and doc fees included?) what kind of deals have ya'll gotten?

I've seen people getting around $27,500 - $28,000.
There's currently a $2,000 dealer incentives going on, btw.
Good luck!

Put in your zip on www.carsdirect.com and see what number comes up. Right at 28K before TTL here in Atlanta. 30K is way too much with 08's coming out.
