Default New to the 2k, need some advice

Hey guys, just hoping to get some info from owners, I just got back from my first test drive a beautiful Sebring silver 2004 with red leather, I loved it. Car has 10,000 miles and the dealer is asking $24,000.

I did notice a few small nicks in the paint, nothing that stood out and most of which could probably be buffed out. Although on the passenger side above the rear wheel well there was a quarter, or nickel sized dent and I'm guessing to take care of it a body shop would have to replace the whole rear right quarter panel. Has anyone had to do this? I just wonder how much it might cost me.

Other than that the car is solid, I love the reworked engine for 04 and the new head lights look killer, I will probably pick her up in a day or two but I wanted to ask some owners first, if there are some things I should look for before signing paper work.

I would appreciate any input, thanks!

Get a car fax on the car; usually there is someone here who has an open car fax, just PM them. The dent maybe can be fixed by paintless dent repair. That's a good price. Does the dealer offer the 36,000 mile warrenty? He should, and that will take care of unexpected repairs.

beware of anything priced below wholesale. if the deal is too good to be true, it usually is!

those are my thoughts, but heres what I'm thinking -

I've still got 1 year give or take of the 3/36k left, so anything thats wrong (crosses fingers) Honda should be able to help me out with.

Also, its near the end of the month and this is a Jeep dealer who took the car on trade in, that plus the small dent makes me think they are looking to move a non-Jeep product quicker

Now there is a honda dealer right down the road, maybe it would be worth it to have them look at it?

thanks for the input

btw the dent really isn't that much of an eye sore and I could live with it (for now) I'm more concerned with the core of the car, engine, tranny, clutch etc

Well, I brought her home few days ago so far I'm loving the car here are some pics http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrow...der_id=1444407

I do have a question about the second gear "clunk" my car doesn't seem to do it all the time, if clutch is let out a little slower, or the rpms are above 4,000-5,000 you don't hear the noise, does that sound about right?

04 s2k
11k miles

Thanks guys
