Anyone think it's fiscally reasonable to place a custom made humidor in the secret compartment? Don't know if other owners out there smoke cigars but i got the idea from an old article i read about the Aston Martin DB7 coming with a built in humidor. I figure the secret compartment would be a great size to fit an average sized cigar (doubt a Churchill). Just wondering if anyone else would be interested in this?

From past experience, it is actually kind of difficult to keep a cigar lit in the s2k. Especially at, oh, 60+ <grin>.

I like the idea of keeping a couple cans of your favorite beverage cool.

A refrigerator seems a bit complicated but how about a tote with one of those refreezable ice-type packs built in that can hold a couple of 12 ounce cans?

Do you think there is enough room in the secret compartment for something like this?

As far as the soda can cooler you can do that without much work. I mean get one of those thermos waterproof cases and get those frozen blue things (have no idea what they're called) and voila....not much work to it.

But the humidor would be much more complicated...just to clarify also i would never even consider smoking anything in, near, or around my car so it's only purpose would be to transport the cigars...don't know how many cigar smokers we have here but i think it would be a cool idea. only other car i know that has this feature is the DB7 and that's not bad company to be in. Carry a portable two cigar case is bulky esp if you don't have a jacket. this would allow us easy transportation of the cigars plus adds a touch of class.

I'm going to go the route of the JL Audio stealth box on this plan and see if i can contact some humidor manufacturers to see if they can custom make on for our secret compartment. I will keep everyone informed.

Just got word back from the first company i emailed

Hi Manuel,

We can make a humidor to whatever specifications that you require. If you can
email me the dimensions and details of what you are looking for, I will get
back to you with a quote. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
James

How about a little wine cellar for some of those small, airline-size wine bottles?
