guy came to my store this evening with his dark blue s2000... after a double take i walked outside to say hi to him (he had to park next to mine), and he's already bragging about how his is '02 such a rare car and makes mine look common - how a hardtop-ed s2k looks common i don't know, but whatever. his is 'the only one in the US that honda made in this color' which looked kinda like monte carlo, but not as nice - kinda like that dark blue hyundais come in. at first i figured he imported it, but it was LHD. so i did the easy thing - asked him if i could check out the interior. amazing - if *I* had a car this nice painted, i'd probably make sure they did the door jambs the same color. the silverstone was nice covered otherwise with this blue color. did i say silverstone? did i mentioned the plastic rear window? the fact that it had better than 30k miles on it? *rolls eyes* we know our cars, pretty well i think. apparently he doesn't know his all that well

 

haha.....people that doen't know their car well should not deserve the Monte Carlo blue.

I bet his blue is not really the true MC blue that on the NSX and Insight, probably just regular Honda dark blue or even worst. what a shame.

 

I bet if you looked under the car there are even more surprises, like a poorly repaired frame for instance.
