Default New Blue Top!!

i just got my top replaced by Honda because of a tear. I was wondering if anyone else has had it done?

It's listed as a dealer-installed option for '04...$995. I haven't heard it mentioned here before this post.

That $995 is probably 99% labor.

Honda is keeping a perfectly good new top and putting a perfectly good new top on the car.

Therefore they get to keep the new one.

I would request that they give you the old top (keep it as a spare!) if you buy a new car with a blue top.

oh no... the old top is not good. It has a tear in it.. so it's not really all that perfect. but i am sure if i wanted to, i can sell it to someone.. but i'm giving it to another memeber, if Honda allows me, who was shafted by Honda of America.

Saw your pics in the other post. That looks nice. The blue top was an option in '03 when I got my Suzuka but I didn't want to spend the extra money and I didn't really want the dealer putting it on and perhaps screwing it up. When the time comes to replace my top, I'm going for the blue too. Thanks for the pics.
