Man Randy, you were fast on that reply. Jenipher, if you got a 2001 model, there are not any recalls that I know of (boot cover and seat belt were 2000), but the site does have a lot of good info. Welcome and have fun.

 

Well...kinda a weird situation...He wanted a white one...I wanted a yellow one...He HAD to trade his SI in asap...it was having problems...this stupid ass salesman sold his white one...he got the yellow one...when there is a white one at a dealer around here, he will get that one and I will have the yellow one...but for now its basically his car (since he traded his other one in on it) but we both drive it. And as far as they payments go we have a joint bank account so its not his or my money its "our money"...ok does this make any sense?? haha..

I thought there was a recall on the radio or something...If not there should be..it keeps cutting from one speaker to the other ..really weird accually but it sucks!

sounds like a short - the speakers blow anyway, so just replace them - check out the electronics forum on this site for recommended speakers.

yes, that's right, you pay $33K for a car that has shotty speakers.

 

This might sound stupid....but does it cut out completely or does it just sound like the volume is cut down? could be that you're covering the speaker with your leg which makes it seem like the volume dropped.
