Read you manual. Read it before you re-fuel too. Oh yeah, check your oil.

I'm also new to the board. I picked up my brand new S last Thursday! It's Silver/Red and I love it! Do tell about the 'secret compartment'. Also what was the purpose of reading the manual before filling up? Other than making sure I use 93, is there anything else to know? I plan to read the manual, I just haven't had time cause I've been enjoying the car!
Any recommendations as far as CD changers? I'm coming from an '01 Acura CL-S that came standard w/ a Bose 6-disc in-dash player. The s2k has a bit less when it comes to stereo, but it completely makes up for it in engineering and pure amazement! I heard the Alpine CHM-S630 will work. Is that something I can add on myself?
Also I have a friend that is a Honda mechanic...he told me 800mi break-in and don't take it over 6kRPM.
I now have a permanent grin!

Jeremy

The alpine will work, I installed it in mine. You need an adaptor. I got the peripheral from crutchfield.

You'll find the secret compartment above the "glove" compartment. Did you find the fuel door release yet?

Read the manual.

Is there a thread that explains the installation process? I'm just concerned about getting to the back of the stereo.
I found the "secret compartment" on Friday night. I was quite thrilled! And yes I did find the fuel door release. Tricky placement!
Thanks for the tips!

twas most embarrassing when i drove my mother's S to a formal dance before i got mine, I was in a full on tuxedo, the works...pulled up to a gas station and looked like a complete fool, it was awful. then my date read the manual and voila, I was made out to be a complete moron. *shakes head*
