OK so I have seen people writing rave comments aboutDan Carney's new book.

Can someone briefly put a few lines together about the book and also its ISBN number.

Then I can see whether I want to get it or not.

Is it just full of pictures?

Kind Regards,
Simon.

BTW I donno if this works in the uk amazon.com... http://www.dealcatcher.com there's a coupon... I used it as well.

There are indeed lots of pictures; however, the text is also extensive and comprehensive. This book, IMHO, is well worth the money. Mr. Carney is obviously a fan as well as being quite learned on his subject.

An excerpt: "Combining formula One-style instrumentation, ultra-short shift throws, precision handling, and rear-wheel drive--not to mention the deep throaty sound of a 240-horsepower engine peaking out at over 9,000 rpm--the Honda S2000 is the most visceral, uncompromised, and affordable sports car to hit the market in years. Backed by 50 years of Honda design expertise, the S2000 is a car that pushes the limits of what we believe a car in this class can do."
