Well, not really--but if owning a book that has pictures of "your" car in it is your primary reason for ordering "Honda S2000" from MBI Publishing Company, you're going to be mighty disappointed if you're a fan of black or yellow. Silver and red definitely are in the majority, and there are a few whites--but yellow and black are missing in action. I can understand the lack of black, because it's hard to photograph, ;-) but there's no excuse (including production time) for the missing yellow. (The 2001 Corvettes, including the yellow ZO6 are shown.)

Lapses such as these always make me wonder what other shortcuts an author took, but having said that, this book definitely worth having for the sections on development and testing and the technical chapters. So, based on a quick scan and without having read the book in detail, I'd still recommend you order one--even if "my" car isn't incuded!

BTW, MBI's number is 800-826-6600. The product no. is 131841, and the price is $19.95 plus $4.95 shipping and handling (Book Rate snail-mail); add $3 for Priority Mail, which got my book to me in two days.

I have read the book, cover-to-cover, and I highly recommend it!

However, there is some controversial text for owners of White/Reds.

The caption on page 55 to the photograph of the White/Red that appears on page 54 reads:

"Stark white is a traditional color for Japanese racing and sports cars, but the color doesn't highlight the S2000's curves like the popular silver and red hues."

I successfully ordered the book today at 800-826-6600. This book probably was well into production long before any yellow pics were available; however, the lack of black photos is strange.
