no offense, it could just be the picture, but your engine bay now reminds me of the hungry man dinner I had last night, unfortunately.

I have had the RM Racing CAI installed since 12/1999. My thoughts are: A) the engine bay looks much "cooler" than it used to with the big black box now gone, B) the sound from the engine, especially when in VTEC and driving through a tunnel is FANTASTIC and C) I have not noticed any real performance gains.

What I do like is the fact that I can bring the car back to 100% STOCK at any time in the future.

turbo_pwr, what is it about a *true* CAI that distinguishes it from this product? I was also under the impression the ID snorkel essentially does the same thing; intake cooler air. Is there more than meets the CAI from an AEM or Injen?

The Injen and AEM FULL CAI units are radically different in design. The snorkel feeds air to the stock airbox from another location. It doesn't change the airflow charactistics, just where the flow comes from.

And your point would be? He already said he took no offense to it. I told him I was not trying to insult him. I just thought that it reminded me of something that unfortunately I had for dinner last night. Which I thought was funny. I don't think there was a need for you to feel insulted.
