Default New Coilovers for $550 + shipping?

I saw these coilovers on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEX-SS-Coil...039322962QQrdZ1

and this is what it comes with:
4 shocks/struts
4 springs
4 forged upper mounts
4 forged lower mounts

Description:

The NEX Type SS is designed to allow the vehicle to be lowered without affecting shock stroke or spring preload. This is done by seperating the spring preload adjustment from the ride height adjustment.

---------------------------------------------

My question is, would it be worth buying for a daily driver? There might be a chance I would replace the springs with Swift custom spec springs. Or should I skip it and spend the extra $400 for a set of Bilstein PSS? I never heard of Nex personally and I am unsure about build quality.

You know the picture's for Civic/Integra's right? My first reaction is that they're chinese crap with mystery spring rates, mystery damping and who knows what quality. The ad's so generic you know nothing about that you're buying.

From the price, they're probably shit.

With further research, it seems some people like them and some don't. One comment was the shocks only lasted a year.

I wouldn't go near those if I were you. Keep your stock suspension which would be 10x better than those pieces of crap. Don't subject your car to cheap parts.

you'll most likely ruin the handling of the car.

Stock suspension with swift springs would probably be a better, cheaper alternative for you.

And didn't you make a post bashing some guy about towhooks? And another about miata owners being homosexuals? Shame on you You could be equally flamed for inquiring about a sweatshop manufactured $500 suspension for a $35K car.

Be nice
