I like the looks of the new S2000 Console but I dont know if its worth the money and time to change it or not. I also heard that it cant hold drinks worth a $hit though. Is this true? Should I just keep my console the car came with.

I assume you're talking about the AP2 console, I like how it looks and has the cool sliding door for the storage/cup holders, though I've found so far that the cup has to be pretty small for it to stay and not fall, I love the whole silver theme on my AP2 console though..

IMO its a waste of money... purely cosmetic. It does give you a little extra storage by having space for 2 cup holders but who cares. What i cant beleive is people who are willing to pay $400 for such a small change

 

i like the console in my ap2, but i dont think if i had the ap1 console i would change. Not worth it in my opinion. I think both look pretty good though.

the ap2 console looks great -- i just do not want to spend a car payment on it

 

they hold the 12 oz. canned drinks no problems.

 

My starbucks fits perfectly.

 

Oh I love how it looks. After putting that and the silver radio door, my cars interior completely changed for me.

As for holding drinks... I suppose it holds drinks... soda cans are perfect!
