WHOOHOO!!!!!!! I GOT IT!!!! I just got my S2000 this morning! My parents did the "pretend to be mad but surprise you when you get out the door" thing. I woke up, dad was bitching(something about the garbage I think? I couldn't really tell since I was half asleep). Then mom starts bitching at breakfast about my clothes (jeans and a t-shirt...would she rather me go naked?) Then they say get the paper and I'm all like....whatever. Then there it is...in the driveway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. Its in a red bow too. lol Then they come out to the driveway with me and are like "Happy 18th birthday". I was in tears man....dam. I'll take pictures as soon as I stop shaking enough to find my camera. lol. THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED ME SETTLE MY INSURANCE ISSUES!!!!! PROPS TO ALL YA'LL!!!!

Thanks. I didn't really expect them to get it. We were planning to get it, but only because they would pay for half of the money that i didn't have. Now it have 16k to do what I want...most of it will go to insurance though. I don't want to spurge too much and end up being broke when the insurance bill comes.

2005. (Technically I figured I was going to get an 04....since we were looking that way...but hell, this works too). I've test driven an S2k...but I wont drive this one much until I get used to it. I'll take it around the block maybe a few times, or down a long stretch, just to feel comfortable in it. Dad said something about him having to "flash a lot of cash" to get it? Does that mean that the 2005 model isn't out? (cause we were looking in 2004, and I test drove an 04 model not to long ago) Kind of funny the way he said it...or was he trying to tell me in some parental code way, "don't spend your money, save it for insurance and college." hmmm....kind of makes me wonder how i'm going to learn this language when I'm a parent....hehe

The 2005 model came out last October time.....I think he actually meant he paid for it so dont f*ck it up.

Be careful out there....they bite back sometimes.
