I am going to buy an S2K, but I need some info. For 2002 is there any feature additions. I know the 2001 has the wind deflector standard. 2002 has a new blue color being introduced. The local dealer told me it was EBP, but i didn't believe him. I thought it was going to be a deeper blue kinda like the new civic and accord blue. Anything else new?

Thanks guys..

Some have proposed that there will be a glass rear window. Wishful thinking, perhaps?

as the posts above indicate, no one knows- the rumor is as they said; blue color with glass window.
are you going to order a 2002 now?
or just trying to decide whether to get the car now or wait?

I was actually quite impressed with a local dealers response to this when I was getting an oil change yesterday. I asked what they knew of the 2002. They responded that no one knows and no one will know until Honda releases an announcement. In fact they were quite surprised to see the '01 come in and did not hear anything about it until about December of last year. They refused to guess because it would be such conjecture. I had to respect that from a dealer (although I was not speaking with someone in sales).

I am going to wait until I hear the option list for the 2002. If i'm going to buy this car, I want to make sure I am 100% happy with it. The only complaint I have is the plastic window. The longer I wait, the more down I have. Who knows? Perhaps I'll have $20k+ when I find out.

Anyone know when honda releases news like that? Will the 2002 be here mid 2001 or late 2001? When did the 2001's arrive?

Thanks!

damn, the plastic window is the only thing keeping you from buying the car? personally, i think a lot of people on this board complain too much about the plastic window. use plexus, a muzmat and keep it clean. how often do you look out the back window anyway? half the time the top will be down.
