De ja vous! Not really, I've created a new forum named Car Talk to contain discussions about cars of all types and all the ??? vs. S2000, which should I get threads. It should make things a bit more sane with some posts going to OT and some to S2K Talk right now. There are a large number of threads about the EVo, WRX, etc. that should find a happy new home in the new forum. S2000 Talk is for topics specific to the S2000. Also we can now reserve OT for truely unworthwhile threads.

 

you might wish to consider a title that's a little more descriptive, such as General Car Talk, Cars - All Types, Cars - Whats New, or ??

OK, I've looked everywhere....where are Click and Clack (the tappet brothers)?

You know I'm a loyal supporter, but I just think we have too few forums.

For example, electronics. Right now we have everything lumped together: heads, navigation, changers, amps but look at how confusing it is. Now do I talk about head lights and on board computers and dash lights and stereos and gps devices and electric steering columns and such. I think we should have a separate forum for each.

And speakers. Speakers need way more than one forum. Right now we have none. There should be a forum for front speakers and a forum for rear speakers. There should be a forum for subs, but maybe bazookas should have their own. And shakers don't really belong with the other subs. Also there should be a forum for after dinner speakers and another forum for church speakers--the preachy forum. All of those are lacking now.

As for tires...how GENERIC. We need a forum for front tires and rear tires and spare tires. Of course we should have a forum for front winter tires and for rear winter tires. Oh yes. A forum for race tires and street tires and off road tires. I don't really think we need a forum for off road spare tires, but see what develops.

Seriously, as far as I'm concerned, comparisons of the S2000 to ANYTHING else belong in S2000 Talk (AKA Car Talk). Off topic is for stuff not really about cars. Street-kill forum is for jerks. Racing forum and Electroncis forum and Under the Hood is for me to learn from guys who really know what they're talking about. I'll ignore all the rest.

Thanks for being there, even if I sometimes disagree with your decisions.
