Visual Reference to hold you guys over.
Very tempting... I wonder if he can engrave the pearl aluminum knob like that, because I think I'm too cheap for titanium plus engraving.

Heat transfer fot Ti is less than Al so it should stay a bit cooler.

Ti shift knob sounds groovy . . . but don't you think it would be like a blazing neon sign that read, "HEAVE A BRICK THROUGH MY WINDOW AND STEAL THIS!"?

LOL!!! If that is the case....the person shouldn't be worried about a shift knob....he should be looking into moving to a new neighborhood.

Mike,

You ever drive into Manhattan (what some Long Islanders refer to as "the city")?

Not in the S...hell no. I used to drive my TL into the city quite a few times. But unless you want your car jacked up by a taxi, a random bum, steel street covers sticking 3 inches off the ground...I highly suggest public trans or a rental car when going to "the city."

You need to drive in "the city" like an animal. The cabs alone will make you crazy. Think of NASCAR at Bristol only at 30-40mph or less.
