The new guy
Just occurred to me that i've been posting before introducing myself... The name's Scott, I live in Irvine, CA, and the lurker style doesnt suit me so you'll probably be seeing my name on the boards a few times...
My S2K is my first real performance car (previous being a 1968 volvo p1800, see: http://www.orgk2.lth.se/OS/P1800/P1800.html
(a beauty but slower than hell) and I'm lovin' it... Bought it in May 2k and I don't have a single gripe yet. Well, maybe one, (damn plastic window) but nothing to detract from the godliness of this car.
I used to post on the club-s2000 site every now and then, but they seem to be pretty much gone now, so I'm looking forward to getting to know this group... you definitely sound more informed than the last.
In other words... hi!

Thanks for introducing yourself, nice to meet you...and yes, this board rocks!
There's nothing like the power of a thousand nit-picky car freaks on your side. Chances are actually great that any question you may have about your stook has already been subject to great debate by the affore mentioned clan. Puts a great big ol' smile on your face doneit? Welcome aboard!

This board has been a real life saver for me, Scott. The people here are VERY serious about the car. You get everything from extremely helpful technical support info to just plain old opinionated SOB's on options (I mean that with love, of course). It makes owning the car a tremendously fun experience even when you're not behind the wheel.
The only time I've ever experienced anything like it was in owning a couple of Harleys. Those people are fanatical, but somehow this is a lot more fun. I haven't been on my Harley since I bought the car, and my vocabulary has been reduced to low muttering.....something like.....ROOOOAAADSTERRR.....
