Seibon aren't going to make an OEM CF top. They have just got through making the moulds for a Mugen copy and will probably want to sell a few of those.

My experience with marketing products for online auto enthusiasts is they always want what you don't make. And as soon as you do they want something different.

That's true.

I asked Mastergrade about producing an OEM style rear spoiler for the S. Finally, they did, and right after that, the new '04 OEM rear spoiler/wing came out.

I realized right away that I would rather have the new design in CF, but I have put off asking about it for a while.

Big of you to own up to it though.

That said, I saw pics of an OEM style CF spoiler recently and it looked awesome.

Well, fortunately, a thread was started and several other owners asked to have it made, as well. Hopefully, they have sold many.

Was the CF OEM spoiler you saw, the old version or the new version?

I heard from Seibon that a rep with a translator from Mugen actually went up to there boot and said "stop copying out products" in a very rude way. Pretty funny stuff. They can't get sued I guess because Mugen copyright only work in Japan or at least the hardtop.
iirc from a post 3-4months ago by a kingmotorsports rep said seibon stepped on their toes to make this HT. Someone who had estabilished minimal contact with seibon purchased a FRP mugen ht from king's stating it was for a customer, but then used it to make their mold for their replica.

So who is going to request it? Come on guys lets get together and ask them to make one. At least make a copy of the AMUSE. I don't want to pay 6500. or 5500 or 3000 + 1000 to get it wrapped in carbon fiber. I just want a CF replica of the OEM or AMuse version. Who is with me?
