Default new Honda Roadster

I was at the dealership today for some warranty top work and while chatting with the manager. he mentioned that there was gonna be a new S Roadster, he showed em some pics and told me some specs for the concept.

itl be a hard folding top with a V6 redlining at 8.3k and the best part of all he said it would be AWD baby

i did some googling and found these two below but i cant seem to find the page that the dealer was looking at, might have been an internal brief or sum thing.

I would love to get a more powerful S2000 with updated looks. I would still keep the S though. Make the new one a GTR beater and sell it for less = SOLD.

I really like the front end of the OSM and the rear end of that new one looks nice.

I'll wait until 2030 when Honda puts out a retro version of the S2000.

AWD and V6? No thanks, I'd rather have lighter-weight and simplicity.

Personally, I think the perfect evolution would be a Miata-weight (or lighter) S1600 with a ~220hp 10,000-rpm I-4. And a 300 hp turbo version

Ah well, it doesn't cost anything to dream...

hello, that osm model concept post is from 2008, really doubt they're bringing those to life.

I share the doubts of the above posters. That said, if the big H does produce a new roadster in the next couple of years, I will be watching very closely and most likely buy one. But even if all that does happen, I'm not selling my S.
