doesn't j's already produce a heat sheild? i think they do, its jus that they never released the header until now
im going to inquire about one of these today and try and order it
The heatshield you are thinking of it isnt for the header but replaces the black heatshield between the battery and header for use with the J's engine damper.

hmmm...well, guess no heat shield...let us know how that header goes though...and dyno if you can.

I personally like a header with a heat shield, even though it isn't absolutely necessary...especially where the header is...it probably won't be melting anything without one...just slightly higher underhood temps. As anybody ever done tests with underhood temp sensors or air intake temp sensors to find out if the heat shields actually do make a good difference? Or is just based on what people think they feel?

This might be alittle off topic but J's racing has two exhaust. the 60mm andthe 70mm will the 60mm be ok for hp gains. the 70mm wont fit with the stock cat so I was just wondering.

I can't believe they put header wrap on the entire header. The welds won't last very long at all!
