ok, this is gonna sound absolutely insane, but its true
18, male, no points accidents anything. 2002 rsx-s... its 6000 / year
my parents wanted to put me on my own plan cause they don't want to have their insurance go sky high if i was put on theirs... its really rediculous

NJ only has 7 companies accepting new policies now.
My brother with one ticket has to pay about 2k a yr for his rsx type s.
Which isn't that bad.
He is with Liberty Mutual.
Getting married like turbo_pwr said is very helpful.
Get an alarm in jersey can save u about 100 a yr.

As JackTs2K said you need to be military or former military (or a dependent of a member) in order to get USAA. You can try their New Member number, you never know 1-800-531-8080. NJ Manufacturers may be the way to go. If you work in NJ talk to your human resources department and see what they can do.
