As some of you know, a few weeks ago my car was hit from behind. I needed to have my entire rear bumper replaced. When I went to pick the car up, I saw that they had painted the rear diffuser black so it matched the rest of the car. I really didn't like the look of that (I prefer the two tone there) so they gave me the option of picking any color I wanted to paint it. I went with Sebring Silver... (btw... to Chantilly Autobody in Chantilly, VA for a heck of a nice job!), at the same time one of my stock 2000 lights was damaged and I upgraded to 2k2s for about $50 out of pocket.

I hoped I would like it...and to my surprise....I think it looks much better than I imagined.

Just thought I would share.....

with all things said above (and the sad thing is)... everything else u got is quality, clean shiznit... comptech goodies, oem parts, etc. and you ruin it all with the paint action.

i like the 00/01 no chrome ring action better

When it comes to aesthethics, only one thing is certain, you are NOT going to please everybody. (And thank God for that) as it gives spice and variety to life.
If you need others to feed your ego and self esteem by telling you they "approve" of your customizations, you will be insecure forever.
Just enjoy your car! YOU like it? GREAT!

I would have left it black. The silver clashes too much against the black body color.
