Default New Lurker

Hello all. Just a quick post to introduce myself. Am strongly considering a new S for my next car, though I'm firmly entrenched in the German camp right now (minus the firewood/dump runner). TT 3.2DSG is also under consideration, as is a non-S Boxster. Z4 is out due to Bangled styling. Anywho, I'll be lurking here, learning about the car & the community. Adieu.

Did that last weekend. Initial impressions very positive, especially the handling, brakes and tranny. Low-end power is somewhat lacking though, gotta really engage that VTEC to get all the ponies. It makes me wonder if it's possible to drive the car demurely or if you have to flog it every time you go out.

It is very easy to drive the car "demurely" and just tool around. At least it is on the MY04 and MY05. 04/05 has an increase in torque (not a huge amount, but enough) that makes this easy. I haven't driven an AP1 version (pre-MY04) so I cannot speak to that.
